Purity

Pure gold is very soft and can't withstand daily wear and tear. Therefore, metals such as silver, copper, nickel and zinc are added to give the gold its strength and durability. Kage content (karatage) stands for purity, which is the share of gold in a piece of jewelry, expressed as a number plus "k". The K gold content is divided into 24 degrees, that is, 24k gold is 100% gold.

We make our jewellery in 18k and 14k gold plating. The 18k gold is made up of 75% gold and is blended with other metals to make it strong enough to withstand everyday wear. 14k gold consists of 58.3% gold and 41.7% other metals.

Color

The color of gold is determined by two factors:

The type of metal it contains .

Percentage of each metal .

Yellow Gold

Natural gold and saturated alloys give gold jewelry a rich luster. The most commonly used synthetic metals include copper with reddish tint and silver with green tint. Copper, silver and pure gold are blended in precise proportions to become a warm-tuned precious metal with a select grade.

White Gold

Silver-white tones make white gold jewelry so moving. In order to make the gold be white, it will be mixed with its own white synthetic metal , and then coated with a very hard element on the surface. Although the strength of the crucible is high, it may wear out over time. The process of re-plating is simple and can be re-plated to restore the whiteness of the jewelry when needed.

Platinum with black enamel

The black enamel is plated with white gold to create an extremely hard and sturdy black luxury look. Compared to traditional daylight, blackbirds wear out over time. Plating is a simple process used by MISS Jewelry to fix black on your jewelry.

Rose gold

The beautiful pink hue of rose gold jewelry is created using copper synthetic metals. The overall percentage of each synthetic metals in rose gold is the same as that of gold or white gold, the only difference being that the composition of the synthetic metals used is different.

Gold-plated silver products

Our range of fine jewellery is crafted from gilded products to create a rich gold color. The industry's standard for gold-plated silver is defined as the plating of 925 sterling silver with a thickness of at least 2.5 microns in 10k gold for durability. At MISS Jewelry, we are committed to providing our customers with higher quality. Our gold-plated silver parts are available in 14k to 24k gold.

Pricing

The price of gold jewelry depends on the purity or weight of the gold used, the market value of the gold, the craftsmanship and the design of each piece of jewelry.

Nursing

Because gold is a natural element, it is affected by strong chemicals such as chlorine and other cleaning products. We recommend that you remove the jewelry before using the chemical to reduce daily wear and extend gloss. To clean the gold jewellery, use a mixture of warm water and detergent-free soap to gently clean the gold with a soft brush. When not worn, store the gold jewelry separately in a soft cloth bag or original box to protect it from everyday irritating elements.
